Upcoming Shipment Dates

Indonesia Import 2026
We’re excited to announce our next Prestasi Indonesian Import, arriving late Summer to Fall 2026! We anticipate the shipment landing between August and October, depending on order fulfillment and overseas logistics.
At Northern Lights Reptile Imports, we work exclusively with Prestasi — a highly respected facility in Indonesia known for its ethical standards and quality care. I work directly with Chris Applin, who takes extra time to properly acclimate and stabilize animals, especially wild-caught specimens, to help ensure a smoother transition into captivity.
Prestasi is not a typical large-scale reptile farm. They specialize in Odatria (dwarf monitors), Tree Monitors, and other high end species, with a strong focus on quality and captive breeding.
As with any overseas import, there are inherent risks related to shipping and wild-caught animals. Please be sure to carefully review our Terms of Service for Indonesian shipments before placing an order.
We’re looking forward to another great import and appreciate your continued support!

EU Import 2026
Europe – April 2026 and September 2026. Possibly more.
We don’t import “just to import.” We carefully source from Europe because it gives us access to exceptional quality, strong genetics, and well-established bloodlines that simply aren’t always available in North America.
Many European breeders have been working with a diversity of species for decades, producing multi-generational captive bred animals with consistent care and attention to detail. That experience and dedication show in the animals themselves. Importing from Europe also allows us to introduce new species and unrelated genetics into Canadian and USA projects; something that’s incredibly important for long-term health and diversity within the hobby.
At the end of the day, our goal is simple: bring in high-quality animals from reputable breeders that meet our standards and support serious keepers and breeders.

China/Hong Kong Import - 2026
China / Hong Kong Import – Spring or Fall 2026
We’re excited to announce that our next China / Hong Kong import is planned for 2026, with timing set for either Spring or Fall. At this point, we’re anticipating a Spring arrival, but final scheduling will depend on overall availability and export conditions.
A 25% deposit is required to reserve an animal, with the remaining balance due shortly before import.
This shipment will include a mix of CBB (captive-bred and born) and LTC (long-term captive) animals. As always, we aim to source responsibly and work with reputable partners to bring in healthy, well-started specimens.
That said, it’s important to understand that many Chinese species are delicate and highly specialized. Some require very specific husbandry and feeding protocols. For example, genera such as Ptyas, Macropisthodon, and Pseudoxenodon can have particular dietary and environmental needs. Others, like Rhabdophis, may not be suitable for every keeper due to their venom and unique traits.
We strongly encourage anyone interested to thoroughly research the species they’re considering. Understanding the commitment and potential risks involved is essential. Our goal is long-term success for both the animal and the keeper, and we may decline a sale if we feel a species is not the right fit after discussing your experience and setup.
As always, we’re happy to answer questions and help guide you toward a species that matches your experience level and goals. We’re looking forward to another exciting import in 2026!
