Payment

For deposits and balances to be paid, here are the following payment options we accept:

  • Paypal
  • Email Money Transfer
  • Wire Transfer
  • Western Union

**We are willing and able to make payments on your behalf with proof of payment to seller if required. (PayPal to seller screenshot, scan or photo of payment to seller)
**We are not responsible for any problems that may arise in regards to payment but will assess any problem immediately.

Deposits are not refundable.

Shipping

All orders must be paid in full prior to shipping, once payment is received, we will process your requested species. 25% is required immediately to hold animals and remaining payment 3 weeks prior to shipping date.

 There will be no guarantee that animals are available at any given time as European sellers are offering in their countries as well. First come first serve basis.

Shipping charge is not included in any animal cost unless noted otherwise.

5% Canada customs tax on total declared value of the animals is extra (Once converted to Canadian currency)

Any overcharge sent to NLRI or Reptile Express will be charged to the buyer.

Restrictions

  • We DO NOT ship front fanged venomous snakes. Special cases for zoological facilities are exempt.
  • We DO NOT guarantee live arrival as we cannot control the care prior to shipping or shipping method which may hinder health of animal after arrival. We do however try our best to have the animals come from reputable, QUALITY sellers. We have had much success.
  • We are not responsible for any delays due to weather and any other acts of God out of our control.
  • We are not responsible for knowing the by-laws in your municipality or province and therefore cannot be held liable.
  • We are not responsible for any tail drops by lizards such as geckos.
  • We are not responsible for any illness, injury or death of any reptile(s).
  • We are not responsible for any mis-sexed animals or mis-shipped species, however will try to work with the European seller on your behalf to fix said situation

Any animals held in our care for any length of time (due to buyer on vacation, cannot accept shipment etc) are subject to additional charges. If no pick ups happen within one month of arrival, animals will be resold and partial refund given to original buyer. This is only in circumstance if buyer and importer does not agree to any specific time frame. (Example, not picking up or shipping despite given dates to etc)

Waiver

Buyers Assumption of Risk:  Buyer accepts the inherent risks associated with shipping live animals or reptiles.  Buyer agrees that neither the third-party courier nor Reptile Express International /NLRI are responsible for the death of any animal.

Buyer voluntarily and knowingly assumes all risks associated with the use of the Services.

Buyer agrees to not bring suit in law or in equity against Seller, any of its officers, directors, stockholders, employees, agents, affiliates, or any other person or entity on grounds, including but not limited to, libel, slander, invasion of privacy, personal injury, death, negligence, Reptile Express International or NLRI  error, property damage or attorney’s fees which may occur at any location or as a result of their purchase . Buyer agrees that this release shall be binding upon Buyer, Buyer’s heirs, next of kin, executor(s) and personal representative(s).

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued in any circumstance (DOA, illness, etc) unless the European seller is willing to work with. 

IF ANIMAL ENDS UP REFUNDED No refunds will be issued on shipping cost or tax if dead on arrival or after arrival.  Shipment space was used and tax was paid when shipment landed. 

No refunds, including deposit will be issued when customer cancels order OR goes past due date without coming to agreement with NLRI or seller

**ALL SELLERS ARE CROSS REFERENCED FOR LEGITIMACY. However, we cannot control what they decide to do**

Shipping fee may be refunded to some degree depending on the situation or quantity of animals involved.  Shipping refund will be determined by Reptile Express International or NLRI. Any animals NOT found through NLRI or Reptile Express International (example: listings posted) will be void of any refunds.

Please note this includes: If the customer backs out,  refunds will NOT be issued due to the spots already taken up that another customer could have used.

 Credit or live insurance is not guaranteed unless the European seller is willing to work with us. 

Isopods are to be shipped immediately; any deaths in our care will not result in any refunds as they stress quickly due to transport.

Any isopods missing will not be held responsible by NLRI or Reptile Express. We cannot control escapees during inspection as we are not allowed on premise. 

  *no snakes over 9’ as adult, no lizards over 6’ as adults as per Toronto law just in case this gets used*

Please Note: As of January 1st 2020 Ontario is undergoing pet ownership law changes. Reptiles, amphibians and inverts have not been discussed yet within the government but may do so at ANY TIME. There is a chance that this will affect our shipment! I will not be able to apply refunds etc if this happens, unless the seller is willing to work with us. Please understand this is absolutely out of our control. We do not expect anything to happen in March.. however it can, or it can be in a year or 5 years.
